What do bikes mean to you? Have you been riding one as a child? Did you recently start bike commuting? Are you so close to your bike that it has a pet name? In celebration of Epic Wheel Works’ 1 Year Anniversary, we’re hosting a photo contest. We want to see just how you “live the revolution.”
We’re going to be celebrating big time with our Live the Revolution benefit throwdown, hosted at Madison’s on May 13, 2010. As part of the event, we’ll be displaying some of our favorite photo submissions as part of a bike-inspired art show. Not only that, but also, one photo will be selected and used as inspiration for a set of custom hand built wheels, auctioned off at the event with proceeds going to support the Bicycle Transportation Alliance’s youth education programs through Oregon’s Safe Routes to School.
How do you enter? It’s easy! You can either upload your photo to the Epic Wheel Works Flickr pool or send an email to epicwheelworks[at]gmail[dot]com. Just remember to include a description of your photo and your contact info! Deadline is April 30, 2010.
